Highline West Seattle Campus
completed in 2005
Highline West Seattle Mental Health already had 35 years of experience
as service providers and managers of special needs housing when they
contracted with Common
Ground to provide finance and project management services for this special needs
project. Common Ground had previously provided technical assistance to Highline,
and they appreciated our expertise in developing housing opportunities for persons
with chronic mental illness and the dually diagnosed.
The project consists of
six townhouse-style residential units on the Center's Seattle campus, providing
supported living facilities for 24 residents. Units are designed to provide
residents with a sense of independent living while having access
to emergency health care,
peer support, and counselors.
