Common Ground's advocacy efforts supports and enhances our work with our clients. We play key roles advocating for polices and resources to support affordable housing at the state and federal level. Our advocacy promotes additional resources and new regulations that increase the availability of safe, decent housing that is affordable to people 0-80%AMI.
WHAT WE DO:
- Present in public and private forums that influence affordable housing polices and resources at conferences, workshops, hearings and through direct communication with key executive and legislative staff and elected officials.
- Create policy papers and other tools to support local, state, and federal advocacy efforts.
- Provide consultation to local and state government on the development of policies and resource strategies to further their affordable housing and homelessness objectives.
